Dominican residences
Advice and procedures for the residence process according to your needs in the country, temporary, work, business, permanent, among others. Evaluate and know the information you require from your country of origin until you obtain your residency. Dominican permits and certifications for other procedures in the country.
Types of Residences.
-Residence by investment for foreign managerial and/or technical personnel. When they work for a foreign company and the period of validity of the residence is one year.
-Residence for Retirees and Investment for retirees. Permit for foreign pensioners or retirees who enter the Dominican Republic in order to establish residence and/or make investments in the country.
-Rentist residence. Permit for the foreigner with the quality of annuitant, in order to establish residence in the country and who is the beneficiary of a permanent monthly income.
-Residence for investor. Permit for the foreigner who enters for the purpose of making investments, exclusively. The term is for one (1) year and the minimum investment amount is $200,000 usd.
-Definitive residence (RD-1). It is an extension of the residence permit, valid for ten (10) years.
-Temporary labor residence (RT-3). Permit for the foreigner who enters the country for work purposes according to a Work Contract, the validity of the permit is for one year.
-Temporary labor residence (RT-4). Permit for the foreigner who enters the country for religious purposes, the validity of the permit is for one year.
-Temporary labor residence (RT-9). Permit for the foreigner who enters the country with the intention of settling and joining, temporarily, in the country, the validity of the permit is for one year.
-Renovations of residences. Procedure to renew the different types of residences authorized by the Dominican government, there are different periods of validity depending on the case.
